This RUio1608SB-D features with damage-resistant rubber protectors to prevent the stage floor from being scratched, and you can stack up to two units on top of one another to make even better use of the available space.

Check and set parameters right away with the onboard display

In addition to directly monitoring the meters for each channel, the built-in mini-LCD screen also allows you to configure and check I/O parameters for Dante, HA gain, phantom power, and more—no need to connect to a mixing console or PC. In the event of an error, the keys on the front panel and the LEDs light up, so you can take action with a minimum of delay.

More than just compact and portable, the RUio1608SB-D also inherits Yamaha's time-honored tradition of transparent sound, just like the RPio622/222 and Rio3224-D3/1608-D3 before it. With your RUio1608SB-D connected via Dante to Yamaha digital mixing consoles and other digital signal processors, managing patching and I/O parameters is simple. When connected to a mixing console, the stagebox can be mounted as a Dante device, allowing you to remotely control HA gain and other parameters. Meanwhile, when connected to a processor, parameters can be controlled using our ProVisionaire suite.

Dedicated network control port for use in large systems

The RUio1608SB-D features a separate dedicated control port that lets you configure the stagebox to be part of a dedicated control network for reliable control when designing a large system. In other words, you can set up a dependable control system without affecting the Dante network.

Use anywhere with R-Remote

Also compatible with the R Remote control app for Yamaha I/O products, the RUio1608SB-D can be used as a lightweight, compact Dante interface with R Remote controlling HA gain and other parameters for recording and other applications where a mixing desk is not needed.

Perfect for installed applications

The optional RK-RUio1608SB Rack Mount Kit provides an elegant solution for situations where permanent or temporary rack mounting is required. A special opening in the RK-RUio1608SB allows cables to be neatly routed to the rear, even when mounted in a rack.
