Complete Media Platform

Lumens LC200 CaptureVision is an all-in-one media station. Very simple to operate, it’s a video switcher, recorder, and streaming device. LC200 allows you to mix four video and computer sources to create engaging and attractive presentations and productions, complete with logo overlay, optional timestamp, and your choice of background. The system records each HD input independently (plus the program output) and uploads events, lectures, and conferences to your organization's Kaltura, Opencase, Panopto, or Wowza platform. It also streams live to users local and global over your preferred CDN, including YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and Livestream. LC200 also integrates with applications such as Wirecast, vMix, and OBS Broadcast.

4-Input HD Video Switcher and Audio Mixer

LC200 captures video from HDMI sources such as professional cameras, presentation laptops, decoders, and visualizers. The unit can also ingest video from standard IP cameras that support RTSP streams. HD-quality videos can be laid out dynamically with shots arranged side-by-side, picture-in-picture, or overlaid – the choice is yours. Layouts can be saved as templates, giving each production consistency and simplifying the production process for the operator. Audio embedded in video inputs can be mixed with the line-in jacks to provide you an excellent level of audio control.

Record Everything

The LC200 records not just the processed program but also four independent video inputs. Having access to each track is ideal for customers who wish to share an edited version of an event. Videos are recorded in high quality at up to 10Mb/s. Files are compliant with standard editing systems for fast turnaround post-production. Recordings are stored on-board (to the unit's HDD) locally (to a USB drive), to network storage (NAS), or uploaded to a remote server by FTP. This flexibility will meet the needs of users in AV, the public sector, justice, education, worship, and conferencing.

Stream Everywhere

LC200 has independent encoders to give you complete control over bitrates, streaming protocol, and destination. In a typical setup, recording can be set at the highest quality for archiving and sharing over local networks. The data rate of the streaming output can be reduced if necessary to adjust for Internet upload speeds. Even at lower bitrates, LC200 still delivers an excellent user experience for YouTube and Facebook audiences.

Automation and Scheduling

Where sessions and events are run according to a timetable, LC200 can be pre-programmed to record and stream automatically. The unit imports Microsoft Outlook and Google calendars or can be integrated with Opencast, Panopto, and Kaltura to automate media processing schedules.

Ease of Control

LC200 gives users choice. Basic button controls on the unit itself trigger recording, switching, and streaming. Plug in a keyboard, mouse, and dual displays for access to system settings, advanced controls, PTZ camera control, and program output. Add a touchscreen for fingertip control. Lecturers and presenters can create their own production live with the optional remote control panel or Crestron controllers. They can easily deploy custom-made layouts that best show off their presentation or production.

Integrate with third-party platforms

Organizations can manage units remotely thru a web interface. Third-party integrations, including Kaltura, Panopto, and Opencast, enable remote scheduling and automatic upload to media and learning platforms.
