Product Code:DUC523EQMAH
The Flight DUC523 EQ MAH is an electric-acoustic concert ukulele with a solid mahogany top and mahogany back and sides. The solid top provides a direct response and a warm, full tone. The mahogany body adds depth to the midrange, allowing chords to remain clear and melodies to shine.
The concert size gives you more room on the neck and plays comfortably with both chords and melody lines. The African okoume neck feels stable, and the walnut fingerboard provides a solid playing surface. Thanks to the built-in pickup, the ukulele can easily be connected to an amplifier or sound system. The bone nut and saddle contribute to stable tuning and good intonation.
FEATURES
Mahogany Wood
The Flight DUC323 QU is made from laminate mahogany. Mahogany is a hardwood that has been used to make quality musical instruments for centuries. Its color can vary a fair amount, from a pale pinkish brown to a darker reddish brown, and it tends to darken with age. Do not let the sober look of mahogany fool you, though. Mahogany ukuleles, especially those fitted with an arched back like the DUC323, know how to growl!
Okoume Neck & Walnut Fingerboard
The neck and fingerboard of the DUC323 are made from African okoume and Walnut. It's a great combination that guarantees a stable intonation across the fretboard, is gentle to your hands, and looks great as well.
Bone Nut & Walnut Bridge
The nut may seem to be a small component, but it plays a critical role in the quality of the sound of an instrument. The nut and saddle of the DUC323 EQ are made from bone (not from plastic). This is just one of the details that makes this ukulele truly special.
Good-looking and easy to tune.
Headstock design is an integral part of our identity. All Flight ukuleles feature a carefully designed headstock fitted with geared tuners that will always stay in tune.
Flight FU-T3 Pickup System
The preamplifier/EQ is a device that lets you connect a ukulele to an amplifier. The preamp features a tuner, saving you the headache of remembering where you left your tuner the night before! Most importantly, though, this small device allows you the freedom to plug in wherever and whenever you like!
Excellent Protection for Your Uke
Light and stylish, yet offering excellent protection for your ukulele, Flight gigbags have already become legendary, and with one hanging off your shoulder, you will definitely make heads turn.
