The Fender MIJ Modern Stratocaster HH - here presented in Olympic Pearl with matching headstock - is a Japanese market-only model, which by an unusual set of circumstances we have been able to obtain. Japanese models always feature outstanding build quality and tone-woods, making them favourites in store. This one has unusual features such as phosphorescent side markers, carved and bound top and a compound radius fretboard (9.5" to 14”) AND neck shape ("C" to “D”). Deluxe Gig Bag included.

The Modern Series is a new series of Made-in-Japan Fenders, developed to provide the highest level of playability and tone to modern players who have significantly improved their playing skills. A new streamlined and stylish design has been adopted - most notably characterised by that carved top - plus a 3-piece high quality alder body. Phosphorescent position markers on the side of the carefully selected rosewood fingerboard improve visibility on the stage.

In addition, the neck adopts a heel cut in to improve ease of playing at the higher frets, while a compound radius fretboard further improves playability. Locking tuners provides tuning stability, and the bridge is equipped with a pop-in 2-point tremolo. Modern Modified Humbucking pickups are fitted, providing powerful tone to match a wide range of styles. A Deluxe Gig Bag is included.
