The Fender Johnny Marr Jaguar® Rosewood Fingerboard, Metallic KO is a premium USA-made Artist Signature guitar inspired by the legendary guitarist, songwriter, and arranger Johnny Marr. Based on Marr's highly modified 1965 Jaguar®, this exceptional instrument blends classic Fender offset design with custom features developed to meet the demands of one of the most influential guitarists in modern music.
Built with a resonant Alder body finished in striking Metallic KO, the guitar features a comfortable 24-inch short-scale length and a custom-shaped maple neck based on Johnny Marr's original 1965 Jaguar®. The premium Rosewood fingerboard features a vintage-correct 7.25" radius and 22 vintage-style frets for a classic playing feel.
At the heart of the instrument are two Custom-Wound Bare Knuckle® Johnny Marr Single-Coil pickups, delivering articulate, detailed tones capable of cutting through dense mixes while retaining warmth and character. The unique 4-position blade switch offers expanded tonal options, including a powerful series-wired setting for increased output and thicker tones.
Additional custom electronics include two upper-horn slide switches that provide flexible bright-tone options. The specially modified Jaguar® bridge with Mustang® saddles, nylon post inserts, and vintage-style floating tremolo system ensures improved stability, sustain, and reliable performance even during aggressive tremolo use.
Finished in nitrocellulose lacquer for natural aging and vintage appeal, the Johnny Marr Jaguar® is an inspiring instrument designed for creative players seeking distinctive tone, exceptional versatility, and premium Fender craftsmanship.
