The Fender American Professional Jaguar® Rosewood Fingerboard, Dark Night is a premium USA-made electric guitar that combines the iconic character of the Jaguar® with modern performance enhancements for today's demanding musicians. Featuring Fender's renowned craftsmanship, versatile electronics, and exceptional playability, this guitar delivers everything from vintage-inspired chime to powerful modern tones.
Built with a resonant Alder body finished in stunning Dark Night, the American Professional Jaguar® features a comfortable 24-inch short scale length that reduces string tension, making bends easier and creating the warm, distinctive tonal character that Jaguar players love. The Deep "C" maple neck with rolled fingerboard edges, sculpted neck heel, and Super-Natural satin finish provides exceptional comfort and effortless access to upper frets.
Equipped with two V-Mod III Single-Coil Jaguar® pickups, this guitar captures the signature sparkle, clarity, and articulation of the Jaguar platform. The bridge pickup includes a tap function for switching between powerful modern output and vintage-inspired tones. The dedicated rhythm circuit places both pickups in series for a thicker, higher-output sound, while independent controls provide expanded tonal flexibility.
The innovative Panorama® Tremolo System offers everything from subtle vibrato effects to dramatic pitch bends, while the ClassicGear™ J-Bridge™ ensures outstanding tuning stability, sustain, and intonation. Whether you're performing live, recording in the studio, or exploring new sonic textures, the American Professional Jaguar® delivers inspiring versatility and unmistakable Fender tone.
