The Conn-Selmer Prelude AS7010 Alto Saxophone is a reasonably priced instrument excellent for beginners due to the new rocking table key mechanism, with an articulated C# adjusting screw, which allows for optimal speed and fluidity. The instrument which has full range, features a lacquered body and keys as well as being supplied with a good quality student mouthpiece.
The yellow brass body includes ribbed construction and a detachable, reinforced body-to-bow connection for added strength and durability. Prelude bore design enhances projection. Designed as an affordable option for beginning band students, the Prelude series of entry-level instruments combines value and performance.
