The acclaimed Yamaha ART (Acoustic Response Technology) pickup system is fitted, creating a warm, natural amplified tone whilst the compact body makes the FSX315C ideal as a travel guitar or a guitar for smaller players.

The one-way active preamp and contact pickup is compact, yet delivers a natural, warm acoustic tone. It offers mid-boost EQ control for optimum sound shaping and tailoring as well as a built-in chromatic tuner.
