20-YEAR EVOLUTION OF STAGEPAS

STAGEPAS 300

This is where the history began. Comprising a mixer that could be conveniently detached from the speaker body—a revolutionary innovation at the time—the first generation STAGEPAS fully realized the concept of “anytime, anywhere, on stage.”

Two compact speakers and a detachable 8-channel mixer made it suitable for a wide range of applications such as live performances, events, and conferences. With its high-quality sound, simple setup and easy operation, it has garnered high praise and support from PA novices to professionals, and many users still imagine this model when they think of STAGEPAS.

STAGEPAS 500

In order to reach even wider audiences, this separate high-power model featured speakers having larger diameters than the STAGEPAS 300 and included effects to enhance the sound.

It combined excellent portability with a powerful output of 500 watts. As an all-in-one system, it was unparalleled at the time, extending the trajectory of STAGEPAS even further. Together with the first model, Yamaha established that STAGEPAS defined and exemplified the concept of portable PA systems.

STAGEPAS 250M/150M

Bringing custom STAGEPAS solutions to even more performers, this mono model of the STAGEPAS 300/500 was mainly targeted toward solo performers who might not need a full stereo setup.

These had optimal performance for projecting to the audience, but they were also excellent as monitors for the performers. Two models, the STAGEPAS 150M and 250M, were released at the same time, making their presence felt in a variety of applications.

STAGEPAS 600i/400i

The evolution of STAGEPAS continues unabated. This second-generation model also augmented the original with new features such as digital connectivity to iPod/iPhone, as well as Feedback Suppressor and 1-Knob Master EQ™ functions to significantly improve sonic performance.

STAGEPAS 600BT/400BT

Here, the STAGEPAS 600i/400i was upgraded to a Bluetooth-compatible® model, and the current detachable type model has become the de facto standard for portable PAs.

STAGEPAS 1K

The ultra-slim column-type assembly applies line array technology to project clear sound even wider and farther.

STAGEPAS 1K mkII

While maintaining a low profile and stylish appearance, the STAGEPAS 1K has grown to be even more powerful, both in function and sound volume.

STAGEPAS 200/200BTR

Amazing sonic performance and comprehensive functions have been condensed into a compact 30 cm square housing—Yamaha’s first battery-powered single-box STAGEPAS.

STAGEPAS 100/100BTR

Returning to the origins of the STAGEPAS concept, this also features a battery-powered model and features an ultra-compact lightweight single-box configuration.
